Un chaos organisé, voilà le point d’ancrage du concert de CHAIR, un samedi de septembre.
Beau et énigmatique.
Faussement fragile.
Véritablement troublant.

Guitares saturées, batterie déchaînée et basse enveloppante, CHAIR installe dès les premières mesures une atmosphère de happening ; 10 titres, 10 moments suspendus : dans la setlist, Desolation man, Fortress, Nihilists, Salty lips, Trail of Nicotine. Échantillons choisis :

Décrire ce moment passé avec ces 5 musiciens n’a presque aucun sens, il fallait être là pour vivre ces instants ; sortir de la route et franchir les limites, avec eux, bruyamment et toujours avec élégance.

À PROPOS :  Du bruit, de la chair, faible, tendre, provisoire… Lourd, puissant. Un drone sonore.  Créé en 2014, CHAIR s’inscrit dans les courants musicaux dissonants et bruitistes issus de la culture post-punk. Ce groupe messin aux influences transes et répétitives a sorti en septembre 2016 son premier vinyle – Carnation – sur le label Vand’oeuvre. CHAIR se présente comme un combo lourd et puissant expérimentant la limite physique et sonore dans ses performances scéniques. On a pu les découvrir notamment aux festivals Music Action (Nancy), en première partie du Thurston Moore Band au Centre Pompidou-Metz -, ainsi que lors de prestations radicales au FRAC Lorraine et à la Face Cachée (Metz).
